Fusion Flea

1:18 scale die cast replica Fallout vehicle

Once the streets rang to the burble-whine of this plucky little car driving a generation to work and taking them on adventures for one at the weekend. Brightly coloured and jewel-like on your drive or on display, the Wand Company’s all-new Fallout Fusion Flea is a beautifully put together and highly detailed collectible prop replica of Chryslus’s neatest little three-wheel ultra-sub-compact city transport. This version has been carefully fabricated from a mix of thickly painted die-cast metal, engineering plastics, and thermoplastic rubber to give a truly realistic looking product.

Designed to replicate the gift Chryslus gives its employees as a small thank-you once they had been working at the company for two years, the Fusion Flea comes complete with a commemorative hard enamel pin and specially designed, vintage postcard.

Lift the engine hood and see the nuclear glow still shining from the engine bay all these years later.

Metallic Paint: The lustrous paint finish colour-matched to the in-game Flea

Chromium plated: Light cowls, luggage rack and other detail neatly finished

Die-cast: The all-metal body gives this Flea some real heft

Collectible accessories: Commemorative enamel pin and a special postcard

Opening canopy: Inner detail of cockpit revealed

Opening engine hood: Engine lights up with nuclear glow when the hood is opened

Removable nuclear core: Glow-in-the-dark core, glows green when ‘charged’ with a bright light

Highly collectible: Range of different colours and liveries have been produced, many only in very limited, small run editions

Making dreams come true

Out in the wild, there are many Fleas. Most have been lost to time and the war, but records remain of some

Below you’ll find the most up-to-date list of Fusion Flea variants that we have produced. Some will be so rare that it is likely that you will never see them, others are more common. None of the Fleas have been made in particularly high numbers and all are made with the same attention to detail, with different postcards to collect and matching colour (or special edition) pins – as a result, each has its own special place in our hearts.

Frequently-asked questions

Look down this list of frequently-asked questions to find answers that will help you if you are thinking of buying a Fusion Flea and want to learn more about how it works or how accurate it is.

What batteries does the Fusion Flea take?

The Fusion Flea takes three LR44 button cell batteries. (Please take care when handling and using small batteries and always read the usage notes as small batteries can be very harmful if swallowed.)

How long do the Flea’s batteries last?

The Flea’s batteries will provide about five hours of engine illumination.

Is the Fusion Flea supplied with a set of batteries?

Yes. To prevent the batteries discharging, the Fusion Flea’s battery compartment is factory fitted with a thin plastic isolation tab. This tab must be removed before first use. The tab may be removed by pulling it out through the slot on the battery door.

Is the Fusion Flea a “screen-accurate” replica?

As no fully accurate 3D CAD reference exists for the Fusion Flea, the design of this Flea replica has been based on Bethesda’s design department initial Fusion Flea concept sketches and the in-game geometry. The original Fusion Flea designer has approved this Flea as being accurate to the Chryslus concept and Bethesda’s Flea design.

Are you going to make any more limited edition Racing Fleas?

No, the racing Flea manufacturing run was strictly limited to 300 pieces. In the future we may consider releasing other standard Fusion Flea colour variants, but we will never make any more Racing Fleas.

Are you going to make any other Fallout vehicles?

Yes, we intend to make a range of Fallout vehicles over the next few years. We love their quirky design and think that a set of them would be an exciting thing to own. We hope to make the Pick-R-Up, the Station Wagon and the Vault-Tec Van, with a special 300-unit limited edition version of each to launch each new vehicle.
