The stand has been designed with care and attention to detail. Manufactured from a 4 mm slab of solid aluminium, the display-grade stand looks elegant yet will hold your Pip-Boy securely in position in your display cabinet, on your desk, or next to your bed on your nightstand. The ABS moulded features take advantage of the existing cable socket on the back of the Pip-Boy engaging with it without the need for additional holes or special connectors to give you a clean and secure mounting, while also providing a neat and tidy way to hold the cable plug at the back of the Pip-Boy.

Is the Pip-Boy 3000 Mk V accurate?
Yes. We designed the Pip-Boy 3000 Mk V for manufacture in the real world using the CAD geometry from the TV show prop … you couldn’t get more accurate than that.
What is the Pip-Boy made from?
The Pip-Boy 3000 Mk V is made from an authentic blend of materials. The front portion of the device is made from die-cast metal, the back of the front half, and the back of the Pip-Boy is made from an engineering plastic called ABS, known for its strength and high fidelity. The cuff is moulded in memory foam, for comfort and in order to fit the widest number of different arm types.
The stand is made from predominantly aluminium, with some ABS fittings, and has a soft EVA rubber pad on the bottom.
How big is the Pip-Boy and its Display Stand?
In the show, there are actually two different-sized Pip-Boys, a male and a slightly smaller female version. This Pip-Boy is modeled after the male version and its size is 150 x 140 x 120 mm (5.9″ x 5.5″ x 4.7″). The Display Stand is 170 x 115 x 90 mm (6.7″ x 4.5″ x 3.5″). When the Pip-Boy is docked into the stand the combined height of the Pip-Boy and Display Stand is 140 mm (5.5″).
What is the Pip-Boy Display Stand made from?
The majority of the Display Stand is made from a single 4 mm thick sheet of aluminium that has been machined and then bent into the required shape. It is perfectly balanced enabling it to stand on its own or rest securely when the Pip-Boy is docked into it. It has a soft rubber EVA pad on the underside of its base.
What kind of screen does it have?
A TFT LCD screen displaying in monochrome green.
What is the best way to display my Pip-Boy 3000 Mk V?
That’s up to you, and it depends on a number of things:
Do you have one or more arms?
If so, then, the ideal place to display your Pip-Boy is on your arm. It has a clock inside it which allows it to display the time moderately accurately on the screen in a totally in-universe way at all times just with the press of a button.
Do you have a desktop or Display Cabinet?
Well, you don’t have to look much further. This is not only a display grade collectible but also a functioning FM radio and a static timepiece (i.e. a clock); so display it wherever you want, using its beautiful aluminium stand
Are batteries included?
Yes. The Pip-Boy uses an internal Lithium Polymer power cell that is charged using a USB-C cable (supplied), via a 5V power supply.
Does the front of the device open to insert a holotape?
No, this Pip-Boy does not open. There is not enough space behind the screen to easily accommodate the necessary opening mechanism and the cavity needed for a holotape.
In the TV show, two different movie props were used, one with a working animated screen and one that opened with a non-functional screen.
